Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need any prior painting experience to attend a session?
Not at all. All Paint Garden sessions are designed for beginners and experienced painters alike. Our instructors guide guests step by step throughout the experience, ensuring everyone can follow along and enjoy the process.
2. What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes all painting materials needed for the session, including a canvas, paints, brushes, and instructor-led guidance. Guests take their artwork home at the end of the event.
3. How long are the paint sessions?
Most sessions last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the event type. Please arrive at least 10–15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and seating.
4. Is parking available near the studio?
There is no free parking available at the studio. Guests may use paid street parking or the Green P parking garage located just outside the studio building. We recommend allowing extra time to find parking before your session begins.
5. Is the studio accessible for guests with mobility challenges?
Please note that the studio is located on the lower level of the building. Entry requires descending exactly seven (7) steps to reach the studio entrance. Unfortunately, there is no elevator or ramp access at this time. Guests with accessibility concerns are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can discuss suitability and possible accommodations.
6. Can I bring food or drinks to the session?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. However, we offer a menu of light food and snacks, as well as water and beverages, available for purchase onsite for your convenience.
7. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Refunds are not permitted within 72 hours of the event. Guests who wish to reschedule may do so for a $10 rescheduling fee per ticket, subject to availability. All rescheduling requests must be made in advance of the event date.
8. What should I wear?
We recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting paint on. Aprons are provided, but paint stains may still occur.
9. What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Late arrivals may miss instructions, and we may not be able to extend the session time.
10. Can I come with a group or book a private event?
Yes. We offer private bookings for birthdays, corporate & team-building events, bridal showers, and group celebrations, and can customize the experience to suit your group’s needs. Please contact us directly for availability and pricing, at thepaintgardencustomerservice@gmail.com
11. Do you serve alcohol?
Yes. We serve alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks, all of which are available for purchase onsite at our public events. Valid government-issued ID is required for the purchase of alcohol.
12. Is photography or video allowed?
Yes. Guests are welcome to take photos and videos during the session. By attending, you may also be photographed for promotional purposes unless you inform staff otherwise.
13. Are children allowed to attend?
Yes. Children are welcome to attend provided they are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or supervising adult for the duration of the event. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child at all times during the session.
14. What happens if I arrive late?
Session times cannot be extended for late arrivals. However, guests are still welcome to join mid-session. Our instructors will gladly help late arrivals get up to speed so they can continue and enjoy the experience.
15. What if I can’t finish my painting?
That’s completely fine. Guests are welcome to take their artwork home and continue it at their own pace.
16. Do I have to stay for the full duration of the session?
Not at all! While we encourage guests to enjoy the full experience, you’re welcome to leave early if needed. Whether you have dinner plans, a celebration to attend, or simply need to step out, feel free to paint at your own pace and head out when you’re ready. Your artwork is yours to take with you whenever you choose.
